Industrial Sheds project to support the light industry sector of Ibri and the activities shall include Aluminium Profiles, Small scale Steel Fabrication, Welding, Heavy Vehicle servicing, Porta cabin prefab units,Steel Furniture making, Services & maintenance of engines or machinery, etc.

The demand for the industrial areas in Ibri is currently met through Small Industrial Areas (SIAs) inThanam, Tayyib and Ibri Souq. Almost 60 – 70% of the rentable area is already leased out. It is expected that the remaining areas shall by occupied over the next two or three years (by 2022 – 2023). The potential tenants planning to avail industrial sheds especially from 2024 can be supported through Ibri Industrial City. Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) Ibri has provided waitlist of potential tenants seeking land for Industrial, Commercial, Stores operation. These are potential tenants who can avail land at Ibri Industrial City.
