Ibri Industrial City is located in the Wilayat of Ibri in Al Dhahirah Governorate on a total area of 10 million square meters. The number of localized projects in the industrial city reached 23 projects that are being built on a total area of 250 thousand square meters, with an investment volume exceeding RO 9 million. The activities of the localized projects vary between building materials sector, oil and gas services sector, foodstuff sector, in addition to warehouses and various industries . Madayn invested in the development of infrastructure for phase one of the industrial city on an area of about 3 million square meters through the implementation of the road, lighting, water, sewage and telecom networks, landscaping, in addition to the electricity network in coordination with Majan Electricity Company. The location of the industrial city was selected based on several criteria, the most important of which are: its location on the international road leading to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its proximity to the oil concession areas, and it will serve the mining, marble and food investment sectors. Al Dhahirah Governorate is located close to the borders with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, as the industrial city is about 200 km from Sohar Port and about 300 km from Muscat Governorate.
